This is a solid little camera that has been reliably sending pictures from my land out in the boonies with no problem. Setup was easy. The app and web interfaces are simple and get the job done. You can even save favorites and tag images with keywords to search for later.Image quality of the pictures that are sent via cell service is lacking BUT that's by design to save battery power and data usage. You can beef that up in the settings if you like. Personally, I find the factory default, low-quality image setting sufficient. I can get a picture and say, 'yep, that's a deer', or 'yep, that's a trespassing meth head'. I don't need to count their individual hairs or read their neck tattoos. The pay-per-use data plan is very reasonable. Even with a stupid limb that fell in front of it triggering it ALL DAY LONG it's only cost about $0.84 in 26 days. Before that the dollar amount in the app hadn't even crept up to $0.01 after taking quite a few pictures under normal conditions. Battery power is still high after about a month of installation.I dinged one star on night vision because if you have a high contrast field of view, the brighter areas can wash out dark areas to where you can't see a lot of the image. There might be a setting for that but I haven't seen it.Overall I am happy with this purchase and recommend it.

Great for surveillance and animal detection

The camera works well, and the usage-based data plan works great for my specific needs. This camera is mounted on some property of ours for security purposes and has served us well. The pictures sent to my phone aren't crystal clear, but I choose to have it that way to save on the data that the camera uses each month. It gets 5 stars because it does everything it is supposed to do, and I don't have anything negative to say about the camera.

The camera was easy to set up and link to my phone and email. Works great. The daytime pictures are very good but the night time pictures are a little grainy but readable. Highly recommend this camera.

I did not know this camera has a monthly fee associated with accessing the photos taken. Need to buy traffic data when I don't want to.

Was looking for a game camera that had good photo quality and would work via cellular to transmit images in real time. I found it.First day setting up the camera I did not realize the impact of selecting video. Batteries were dead in 48 hours. It takes playing around with both the camera and cellular settings to get everything functioning smoothly. I realized that video was not a benefit and that the camera quality and resolution was so much higher with still photos. Also, the sensititivity of motion sensing also impacts battery life. At a high sensitivity, the camera would take a photo every time the wind blew. On first day, the motion detection resulted in 1,700 photos of ... nothing. It was just wind and leaves. I adjusted sensitivity to the medium setting. I also moved from high resolution to standard resolution to preserve battery life. Then I removed video and went with still phots. And finally, I adjust the rapid photos to 2 photos. The default is a rapid 4 pictures with every trigger.Once the settings were adjusted to where they needed to be (i.e. no video just still shots, medium sensitivity and 2 photos per triggered event) the camera performed like a champ. Photo resolution at the SD setting is incredibly high. Pictures are great. Moreover, after I adjusted settings, batteries last over 2 weeks so far. When motion is detected, the camera will send photos in real time.Very happy with this purchase. The camera is not cheap and was on the higher side of what was available. But i think the functionality, ability to adjust settings, and the quality of the photos makes it worthwhile. I may purchase a second camera as we live on a large property and sometimes the animals we are looking to spot are the two-legged variety and not the four-legged variety.Would purchase again.
