I bought 2 of these for my 14 & 15 yo kids rather than the gopro 9 (if they lost or broke them - I wouldn't be upset due to the cost of these.)The basic setup instructions are there but otherwise you have to go online to read the full instructions. I believe there was a QR code I scanned to get to them and then I downloaded them to keep them handy.Did not need them a whole lot as it is pretty intuitive.Spent 10 days in Dominican Republic with this camera 8 days ago and it worked beautifully (underwater for more than 40 hours total)They fit all the 'GoPro' mounts that the excursions offered and the wristband straps are awesome!!They had just as clean of pictures & video as my girlfriends brand new go pro 9 (3 times the money) that she took along. (BTW - her gopro instructions were online as well as my instructions for my Olympus TG6 ) - it's where our world is today....... (sad to say)The only 'con' is the zoom could be more powerful - which would make them cost more as well - so not really a 'con' -- I got what I paid for.Actually: I got WAY MORE than I thought I would be getting with these price point cameras!!!Heck - at $100 if they ONLY lasted the 10 days - they would have been worth it BUT they are going to last a whole lot longer - BONUS!!!!

This is perfect for not wanting to spend $400 on a GoPro. Video was super shaky. I also haven't used all the features yet so there may be a stabilizer. Audio is good. Battery life if not good, they die quick in my opinion. I would by another one before I buy a $3-400 action camera. I bought the off brand accessory kit and that gave me more mounting options but it's not really necessary.

I bought this for a mule riding adventure in the Grand Canyon and I was very impressed with the overall quality, especially considering the price!!The pics look great but the videos didnt turn out all that good, however I think most of that was my own fault for not practicing more.The two issues I had were 1) it comes with lots of different mounting hardware, but not the one I needed which was a simple clip to attach it to the visor of a baseball cap. I had to get creative by wrapping a belt around my cap and sliding it on to that. I had to attach the belt with thread to be sure it didnt come off. And 2) When using the remote wrist control there was no easy way to tell if I turned the video off or on (without taking my hat off and looking) so I missed some really good footage like the Holy Jesus hairpin turn and more as we traversed the canyon.When you press the record button it does say something like 'recording on/recording off' but it is so faint you can't hear it unless it's very quiet around you. The video recording did an excellent job picking up the slightest noises....even me breathing!They should consider adding an on/off light to the band. And lastly 3) Towards the end of excursion it kept shutting itself off after a few seconds of recording and I am not sure why. I should take a look in case I need to return it??? Maybe the SD was getting full? I dont know...but it is a hell of good deal all things considered.

I have an upcoming vacation that I want to not have to worry about photos, and just enjoy the moment. I bought 5 different action cameras all ranging in price and compared them to find the one I want to keep. This camera is on par with the lower-priced action cameras. Out of the 5 action cameras I tested (see the photo I attached), these pictures are clear and of okay quality. The video is on par with the rest in quality (see the video and gif attachment to see video comparisons). I did not test out the battery life. Overall, why buy this one when a cheaper one is just as good IMO. Also, this one is super hard to get the case off, compared to the others. I had to use an electric screwdriver to get the connections off, and my fingernail broke getting the battery door open...this was not the case with the other ones I have bought.
