I would like to say, I've bought many other name brand trail cams over the years. I bought cheap and I've bought expensive. I've had cheap cameras last longer then expensive ones. I decided to try other name brands and my research led me to this unit. The quality upon unboxing was more than expected. This turned out to be a good value trail camera with sufficient motion detection on the sensors, good quality photos and videos, great night vision capabilities, and the triggering distance was pretty impressive capturing movement out to 30 yards.

The first one I bought didn't read sd card. I returned it with an exact replacement. The 2nd one reads the card right away, but I can't get it to load in my cell phone. The cam shows WiFi connected, but in the phone it doesn't show up. The app, 'Hunting Camera' has a 1 star rating in the Android app store. So I decided to forgo trouble shooting. I'm returning the 2nd one for a refund and bought another brand on Campark - Focus on Cameras which uses 4-star rated app, Trail Cam Pro. BTW, I did try to use Trail Cam Pro app with this camera but it would not recognize the app. Can't open WiFi of the camera with bluetooth from within Trail Cam Pro.

It does work as an IP camera, but the quality is bad. A dedicated spare smartphone is required to run the app constantly, and connect to a monitor via MHL.would be amazing if 1 - the quality was much better, 2 - the camera wifi offered a web interface and 3 - connect to a wifi rather than be the hotspot.I bought it to get a good close-up on the birds outside my window & stream the video onto a big screen
